Windsurfing, sailing, kayaks and glass bottom boats go out onto the bay from the beach in front of the hotel. In the evening, dinner at Nautic or a drink at the Bay Watch Bar can be followed by a walk into Grand Baie.
Grand Baie's shopping centres, nightlife and casino lie within walking distance, and the hotel overlooks the town's bay. Guests have access to Mont Choisy Le Golf, an 18 hole course, and deep sea fishing trips can be arranged by the hotel.
A village of Family Apartments, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, shares its own pool. The Loft keeps parents on one level and children on another, and the 3 rooftop Suites, for two, each have a plunge pool of their own.
The Bay Watch Bar looks over the pool, with sandwiches at midday and pancakes in the afternoon. For dinner with a little more ceremony there is Nautic, à la carte, where gentlemen are asked for long trousers.
