Each room has a balcony or terrace towards the water, and the Beach Rooms and Ocean Superior Rooms look straight out over it. Across the resort, 8 rooms are equipped for wheelchair users, with grip rails and shower hand rails.
Tamassa stands in large landscaped gardens on the Coastal Road at Bel Ombre, in the south. It works in partnership with EcoSud, a local NGO, and its glass bottom boat goes out over the lagoon when the tides allow.
In the 8 Tamassa Family Rooms, children have bunk beds and a miniature bathroom of their own, and the Family Suite joins a pair of interconnecting bedrooms. For friends or siblings sharing, 70 twin rooms have two separate beds.

Playa, the beach restaurant, serves à la carte at lunch and dinner and is booked a day ahead. At midday a burger truck stands beside the main pool, with no seats at all, and the lounge bar opens its ice cream parlour.
