Each cove has its own beach. At the far end of the peninsula, the area known as the Banyan is kept for adults, and a party of several generations can spend the day apart and meet again at dinner.
Close to the fishing village of Grand Gaube, the resort stands on a calm lagoon on the north coast, with the northern islets in view. Grand Baie is ten minutes away by car.
Ocean Junior Suites have a four poster bed and a standalone bathtub out on the terrace, facing the northern islets. Ground floor Junior Suites are close to the beach, with a glass walled garden off the bathroom. The LUX* Villa has its own peninsula and sheltered beach.
Within the Banyan, the Rum Treehouse keeps 88 rums and the Creole Smokehouse cooks à la carte on set days. By day, drinks come from the French Kiss Bar, a restored Citroen H van; in the evening, INTI serves Peruvian dishes from an open grill, with a Pisco bar beside it.
