Every room at Le Telfair is a suite, and each one comes with a resident host, alongside a Clé d'Or concierge. The resort takes its name from Charles Telfair, the Irish naturalist who lived in this part of the island in the 19th century.

Suites face the gardens and the river, look over the lagoon, or open straight onto the sand. An adults only side for guests aged 16 and over has its own heated pool, with La Case on the beach beside it. Senior and Ocean suites add a separate living room.

Le Palmier sits on the beach, cooking seafood, palm heart and local dishes. At Annabella's the sommelier sets out wine and cheese each day, and Cavendish is a piano bar with a library and a shelf of Mauritian rums. Some evenings, dinner moves across the estate to the Château.

Tell us who is travelling and why. We choose the suite with you, on the adults only side or in the family suites, and place Bel Ombre within the wider journey.
