In the western part of the grounds lies a natural fish reserve, and some Junior Suites and villas stand on stilts above it. The villas there have a whirlpool bathtub and a separate living room. Across the grounds, Junior Suites are grouped under thatch, no more than eight to a building.

Across 60 hectares of private land on the north east coast, the resort is sheltered from the prevailing winds, with a lagoon and secluded beaches. Port Louis is 35 km away, and the Legend and Links championship courses at Belle Mare are about 5 minutes' drive, with a shuttle.

A Family Suite adds a children's room with bunk beds and its own bathroom. On the beach, 9 villas have direct access to the sand and a heated private pool, and the Princely Villa stands in a secluded area with three terraces and two heated pools.

Next to L'Archipel, the wine cellar keeps a tasting table for up to ten. L'Archipel itself is partly open air, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a Mauritian influenced à la carte, and the Barachois floating bar opens in the evening.

We settle the room with you first, on stilts over the reserve or a villa on the beach, then a table at Le Barachois for the evening that matters most.
