The sand runs for 2 km, and a coral reef offshore shelters the water in front of it. Snorkelling trips and the glass bottom boat leave from the boathouse, and every room and suite is turned towards the Indian Ocean.
Almost 15 hectares of the resort at Belle Mare are tropical garden, and the resort has two 18 hole championship courses, Legend and Links, each with a club house and reached by shuttle. Every year the Constance Festival Culinaire is held here.
Each Junior Suite has a large terrace or balcony with a dining area and a sofa bed, some of them on the beachfront. Villas of 2 or 3 bedrooms have their own check in and a Villa Master, with a heated private pool and a pavilion on the terrace.
Blue Penny Cellar serves à la carte dinners inside the wine cellar, and at its wine bar below the lobby the sommelier leads a tour of the collection. Out at the Legend club house, Deer Hunter cooks Indian Ocean dishes, with venison on the dinner menu.
