A private welcome, and the first evening your own • A private evening at the spa, included • Five courses at dusk aboard a vintage yacht • Creole lunch at a family table • Breakfast in a tree house above the lagoon • The Southern Cross through a telescope • Two island days, with our compliments • Generous days, kept open
Two island days are included, one on each coast, chosen by you. Each is arranged around your pace.
From the north
From the south west
The journey is designed around space. The set pieces sit at the edges of the day, an evening at the spa, dinner at dusk on the water, a tree house breakfast above the lagoon, a lunch at a family table, and the days themselves stay open. Outings are there when you want them, chosen by you and shaped to your pace, and between them the pool, the warm sea, the shade of the casuarinas. Your days answer to you.
You stay half board at two of the island's leading five star hotels, five nights on the north coast and five in the south west, each chosen for how it cares for you, from breakfast to lights out. A private driver handles every transfer, and a local host stays reachable throughout.
If you are marking the occasion with family or friends rather than as a couple, tell us; the same ten nights carry a villa or a larger party comfortably.
When to come. The package runs October to April, the warm season on these coasts, when the daytime temperatures sit in the high twenties to low thirties, warm sea, long light.
The pace. Built for comfort. Fuller days alternate with open ones, mornings start when you do, and the route moves one way around the island.
How it works. You tell us the occasion and we design the ten nights around it. One price covers the stays, every private transfer, the designed moments and your chosen island days. An on island host stays reachable throughout, day and night. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
"We never felt like just another booking; we felt genuinely cared for throughout our holiday. The combination of meticulous planning, local knowledge, excellent communication and genuine warmth transformed what would have been a wonderful holiday into an extraordinary one."
Sue and Robin, June 2026
A private transfer meets your flight and brings you up the north coast, cane fields giving way to the sea as you go. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, and the first evening is kept free.
The first full day is left open on purpose, time to settle into the island at your own pace. After dark, the spa is yours alone: a cocktail to open the evening, a treatment side by side, the sauna, then dinner in the spa garden while a film plays under the stars. The evening ends a few steps from your room.
The day brings the first of your two chosen experiences, arranged to suit the north coast and your pace: a catamaran crossing to the northern islets off Grand Baie, a guided walk through Port Louis and its central market, or a morning with the dolphins off the west coast, as you prefer.
The day is yours until dusk. In the evening, a restored vintage yacht sets out from the northern harbour, long part of the lagoon's maritime life. A welcome cocktail and canapés on deck as she leaves the quay, then five courses with selected wines, and a moment arranged in advance to mark the occasion.
An open day on the first coast. The lagoon is at its stillest before lunch, the beach is a few steps away, and the day has no other plans for you.
Today the journey leads across Mauritius to the south west, the coast and the climate shifting as you go, with a stop for a Creole lunch at a family table, served the way the island eats. You arrive at your second hotel with the afternoon to settle.
The morning begins in the branches: breakfast in a wooden tree house set in an Indian almond tree above the lagoon, something chilled to start, the reef laid out below. The rest of the day is open beneath Le Morne Brabant, the mountain that gives this coast its name, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008 for the history it guards.
The day is yours. After dark, Jordan, our local astronomer, meets you on the beach outside your hotel for two hours of private astronomy: a telescope on the sand, the Southern Cross and its companion constellations named one by one, under a sky that belongs to this hemisphere alone. The south west holds the island's darkest sky, and the evening depends on a clear one.
The day carries your second included island day, if you want it: the green highlands, out in the morning and back by mid afternoon, with Ganga Talao's sacred crater lake ringed by temples, the Seven Coloured Earth and waterfall at Chamarel, and a tasting at a working distillery in the hills; a guided walk in the Ebony Forest to Sublime Point, an endemic sapling planted to mark the occasion, rare birds overhead; or a day through the southern estates, tea, vanilla and a heritage distillery.
The last full day is left open on purpose. The sea, the mountain, and nothing planned, which is exactly what this journey should leave room for.
A slow breakfast and a last hour by the water, then a private transfer to the airport as your flight allows.

From sunlit terraces to tucked-away retreats, our boutique accommodations echo the soul of Mauritius. Designed for comfort, chosen for character, and woven into your journey with intention.
